For patients who are unable to visit the clinic during this time, we are pleased to inform you that our physiotherapy team will be offering Telehealth appointments. These virtual appointments will enable your physiotherapist to check in with you and answer any questions you may have about your musculoskeletal health.
Physiotherapists will also be able to monitor progress with regard to rehabilitation and active care as well as to prescribe and demonstrate new exercises, should they be required. Telehealth appointments will be conducted through our patient management software, JaneApp, which is a secure HIPAA approved option for digital communication. This software uses your computer’s own built in camera and microphone for the interaction and each online appointment is encrypted, anonymous, and never recorded or stored.
Insurance providers and motor vehicle accident claims will now cover Telehealth appointments in the same way that they have previously covered your in-person visits. The cost of a 30 minute Telehealth appointment is $85. The clinic will direct bill your health insurance or motor vehicle accident claim for the visit, and any outstanding amount will be collected via credit card by our administrative team over the phone at a later date.

How to log in to your Telehealth session:
Please ensure that you have the latest version of Chrome on your desktop or laptop computer.
There are two ways to join your appointment:
1) Join the appointment via your email appointment reminder – click ‘begin the appointment’ at the bottom of the email.
2) Join the appointment via My Account on the JaneApp.
– Sign in
– Go to upcoming appointments
– Click ‘begin’ (blue button) to start session
– Provide consent – scroll down and click the “I consent” tab to provide it
– You may get a prompt to access your microphone and camera – click OK to proceed
