Gaurangi Dhumal, Physiotherapist, BPT

February 8, 2018

Gaurangi earned her Bachelors of Physiotherapy from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India, in 2012. With a dream to explore more in the international physiotherapy field, Gaurangi traveled to Canada from India in 2012. She arrived unfamiliar with the Canadian healthcare system and Canadian culture, so she took a Physiotherapist Assistant diploma program (PTA) at Conestoga College prior to completing the Canadian licensing exam.

Gaurangi was awarded her Canadian Registered Physiotherapist License (PT) in August 2016 and worked at a highly regarded multidisciplinary sports therapy clinic in Ontario before moving to Calgary.  She places a high priority on continuing education and to that end, she is in process of completing her acupuncture accreditation, dry needling studies, and a Level 2 Manual Therapy course for orthopaedics.

She has an avid interest in treating a variety of orthopaedic & sports-related injuries and helping her patients achieve a healthy lifestyle. In her free time, Gaurangi enjoys hiking, running, cooking, and painting.
