Mary Mitton Physiotherapist, BSc
While growing up in Canmore, Mary enjoyed a number of activities, including volleyball, basketball, highland dance, and nordic and alpine skiing. She moved to Edmonton to pursue her education, and graduated from the University of Alberta with her Bachelors of Science with Specialization in Psychology, followed by her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. She has also completed courses and been certified in medical acupuncture (dry needling/IMS).
Mary is a firm believer that physiotherapy is centered around enabling people to return to their favourite activities post surgery or injury, and is especially interested in cardiac rehab and acute injury management. She believes in providing individualized, patient-centered care to all of her patients.
When she isn’t at Coach Hill Chiropractic & Sports Therapy, she can be found at the Foothills Medical Centre on the cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation units. She also enjoys skiing, basketball, and running, and is working on achieving her new PB for a half marathon.
